2011 HOLIDAY SHOP SERVES A RECORD NUMBER Thanks to the assistance of 3000 + volunteers, wonderful donations, and outstanding community involvement, JCCB served 3,425 families (including 12,700 individuals and 651 nursing home residents) at the 2011 Holiday Shop! We cannot thank everyone enough for the countless hours of help provided to ensure the success of our 35th Annual Holiday Shop. The support of individuals, schools, community organizations, and businesses truly brightened the holiday for our neighbors in need.
Thanks also to the kindness of Block and Co., General Manager Mark Levin and the staff at the Great Mall of the Great Plains for the donation of the outstanding site for the Holiday Shop. The abundant space, layout and parking were greatly appreciated by both clients and volunteers.

ROYALS 50/50 FRIDAY VOLUNTEERS
HIT A GRAND SLAM!!
Enduring extreme heat (on September 2nd) and braving the cold (on September 16th), 65 enthusiastic JCCB volunteers donned Santa hats and sold raffle tickets at each of the Friday night Royals games.
JCCB was honored to be selected as one of six 50/50 Royals Charities for 2011.
Our enthusiastic volunteers showed up in full force and sold a total of $16,627 in raffle tickets!! JCCB will be the beneficiary of 25% of the total or $4,157- finishing second among the charities- outstanding for end of season games.
The Royals staff were duly impressed and commented positively about the large turnout, the passion of our volunteers and, of course, our lovely Santa hats - go Royals/JCCB team!!!
This was an outstanding opportunity to build awareness for JCCB and provide greatly needed funds to support our neighbors in need at the 2011 Holiday Shop.
Fry -Wagner and Lakeview Village respond to JCCB's Critical Need for Storage Space
A huge thank you goes to Fry Wagner Moving and Storage and Lakeview Village for responding to JCCB's critical need for year-round storage.
Fry –Wagner Moving and Storage has kindly donated approximately 5,000 square feet of warehouse space to store our purchased and donated merchandise. Special thanks to Frank Senatore (Fry -Wagner) and Keith Baker (CB Richard Ellis) for coordinating this effort.
Lakeview Village, which has donated office space for our Client Services Department for the last several years, has extended the offer to include storage space. Thanks to the efforts of Jim Owens (JCCB Board President and Lakeview resident), and the Lakeview Village management tema, we are extremely grateful. The space will be used primarily to sort and box merchandise prior to the Holiday Shop.
